Mina Hamidi
Mina's work includes more than 50 artworks examining the theme of womanhood and the relationship with nature.
About the Artist
Mina was born in Tehran, Iran in an artistic family. Her father and sister were successful painters. After her graduation from Firdausi University with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Mina followed her artistic career with her passion in painting and drawing.
Over 25 years, Mina has continued to create beautiful paintings and drawings. Much of her work examines the theme of womanhood and the relationship with nature. She explored different techniques in painting and drawing such as pastel, watercolor and oil with alternative subject matter.
Mina also has extensive experience in teaching these mediums. Her style is abstract expressionism using rich colors and emotional effects.
Mina has had successful exhibits in Iran and Canada.
